Grant giving scheme

Methodist Insurance makes charitable donations from its annual profits, paid via Gift Aid, to Allchurches Trust Limited.

Allchurches Trust Limited operates a separate Grant-Giving Committee to consider applications from Methodist beneficiaries which seek to enhance the mission and ministry of the Methodist Church.

The continued aim of the grant giving scheme is to enhance the mission and ministry of the Methodist Church.

Grants are awarded for building development, for mission, outreach and community benefit, with some demonstration of energy efficiency. Grants are not awarded for routine building maintenance.

Every application received is checked to ensure that it complies with the scheme and is complete. It is then reviewed for consideration by the Grant Giving Committee which meets every quarter.

On average, it takes between three and six months for an application to be processed, considered by the Grant Giving Committee and for the decision to be communicated to you.
