Standard property grant scheme

This scheme is limited to projects with a maximum cost of £100,000. The maximum grant is £10,000 and can be up to 10% of the project cost.

Grants are awarded for building development, for mission, outreach and community benefit, with some demonstration of energy efficiency.

Grants are not awarded for routine building maintenance.

The degree of financial support (if any) from the Circuit, District and Connexion for the scheme and whether any support has been separately provided by Allchurches Trust Limited will also be taken into consideration.

    • How the grant applied for will be used

    • The funds raised to date towards the project

    • Whether a grant has previously been given under the scheme (with dates and value)

  • Once you've applied

Every application received is checked to ensure that it complies with the scheme and is complete. It is then reviewed for consideration by the Grant Giving Committee which meets every quarter.

On average, it takes between three and six months for an application to be processed, considered by the Grant Giving Committee and for the decision to be communicated to you.

We expect to receive a large number of applications and take great care in reviewing each one individually.

Unfortunately applications cannot be considered from the following:
  • Individuals (unless it is on behalf of a church)

  • Grants in respect of salaries, general running costs, maintenance and repair.

Further applications will not be considered from organisations which have already been awarded a grant within the previous two year period under the scheme
