Lift inspection service

If you have a Stairlift, Wheelchair lift or Passenger lift in your church, you are required to have the equipment inspected at the correct intervals by a "competent person" in order to comply with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) which are part of current Health and Safety legislation.

Failure to comply with Health and Safety legislation can have serious consequences:

  • Increased risk of accidents and ill health

  • Enforcement of the legislation by the Health and Safety Executive

  • Heavy fines or even imprisonment.

Working with HSB Engineering Insurance Limited, we are pleased to be able to offer you an inspection service to meet this statutory requirement. The frequency of inspection will depend on the type of equipment you have.

Please note that we can only offer lifting equipment inspections to existing property insured customers.
