Our entry period for nominations has now closed.
Our entry period for nominations has now closed
A huge thank you to the numerous Methodist Churches up and down the country who entered our Methodist Church Volunteer Awards. The closing date for entries has now passed, which leaves us with the very difficult job of processing your wonderful entries for regional judging.
What our judges are looking for?
- Volunteers who have made a meaningful and impactful contribution to their church and community. Perhaps their actions have reached a great number of people, or helped address a longstanding community need.
- Volunteers that have gone above and beyond in their volunteering efforts.
- Volunteers whose activities are valued and recognised by those they have helped.
As you may be aware, the awards are broken into two stages. We will have 11 regional winning churches and 1 overall winning church.
Regional winning churches
The 11 winning regional churches of Methodist Church Volunteer Awards will be determined by our judging panel and announced before 31st January 2020. Each winning church will receive £1,000.
The overall winning church
The overall winning church will be chosen from the 11 regional winning churches. This will be determined by a combination of a public vote and a judging panel. Please be sure to keep an eye out on our website for how you can vote for your favourite entry soon.
